Gene Simmons of Kiss has had a few different axe basses over the years and this is a combination of some of my favorite features of a few of the different models...oh yeah...and it's a 5 string!

The overall body design is loosely based on Gene's present axe. The pointed headstock and blood splattered body were part of his original axe. The studded body was inspired by the axe bass included with the McFarlane action figure.

Some of the features I added were black hardware, a single soapbar humbucking pickup, a single volume knob, a textured black alder body featuring carving on just the front side, a 24 fret skunk striped glossy bolt on maple neck, and a truss rod cover inspired by the Demon's very own tongue.
