A
couple of years back, George Bjorling came to me for
a doubleneck. Since that time, we've become good friends.
I
told George of an idea I had to top a body with old,
beat-up barn boards instead of some fancy-scmancy
maple top. Not only did he have some barn boards,
but he also had some slabs of oak. He sent them all.
I
thought such an unusual guitar need an unusual setup
and style.
The
body is like a Strat but is the size of a P-bass.
The electronics are two individual volumes and a shared
tone that is a push/pull pot that taps both of the
humbuckers.
This
bad boy is heavy too. It weighs in at 10 pounds.
