This
is the first doubleneck guitar I made. I sold this
guitar for only $400. Something similar now would
go for around $800.
The
idea behind this project was that 1/3 of the songs
I played use an open D tuning, so I thought it would
be nice to have one guitar with two tunings.
This
guitar is appointed with Tele style headstocks, rosewood
fingerboards, walnut burl laminate front, tough black
textured coating on sides and back (similar to a spray
on bed liner), two DPDT switches to turn on either
or both necks, a single volume knob, and Kluson style
tuners.
