When Bob Hubbard couldn't find a luthier to build him just what he wanted, he found us. One luthier flinched at the idea of a 7 string Tele and another balked at the idea of a bedliner finish.

In working with Bob on the design, we decided to make the alder body a full 2 inches thick to help keep it from being too neck heavy. We installed a pair of passive EMGs, skull knobs, and a diamond plate control cover for just a little 'tude.
