This bass is the brainchild of hired gun axeman Art Zimmer. It is his version of Billy Sheehan's bass lovingly called "Mother".

It has a Fender liscenced birdseye maple neck with Hipshot tuners and Hipshot D-tuner. Like Billy's it has a regular P bass pickup in the rear and Gibson Sidewinder up front. Each has their own volume, tone, and output for bi-amping. The body is 3 piece alder with a tortoise guard and is 3 tone sunburst. It's tone is huge. With the right amp setup, this thing will stop your heart.

It had been a while since we had built a bass that was so hard to see go. What a fun rig to play.
