The Sparhawk Necronomicon
We were building this guitar on the side and had intended to put it in a local store, but, as soon as Keith Sparhawk spied it, he had other plans for it even before we were done.

It is based on the book The Necronomicon in the movie Army of Darkness, this cleverly sculpted guitar plays as nice as it is ugly.

The poplar body is slightly smaller than the average Explorer and also upside-down. It has nicely balanced humbuckers coming in at 18k (bridge) and 9k (neck) that make this guy sing. It also has no-nonsense controls, just a 3 way switch and a single volume pot.

The headstock was customized for Keith. It has a slightly different shape than the standard Hembry 3x3 head and it has Keith's "star and wings" logo and his "Hawkstar" moniker.
