This
guitar was built as a showpiece but when Rafael saw
it, he knew it was meant for him. It was Rafael's
first Hembry. He now owns four.
The
body was carved and painted by our good friend Tom
Erdman. I've known Tom for over 25 years now. Great
guy, loving father and husband, and great artist.

The
painting and airbrush work is covered by more than
a couple of coats of lacquer. The back is textured
black and the maple neck and fretboard are very glossy
and slick. The single volume knob is also a push/pull
coil tap.
Made
of poplar, the whole guitar only weighs 7 lb 7 oz.
A 3 way switch, through body stringing, and chrome
hardware round out this beauty.
