This project was commission by one of our best customers and friend Rafael Gelpi. Click on his name (link) to check him out (and his collection of Hembrys).

Rafael had seen a picture of a guitar with a couple of skulls and a snake on it and sent the picture in to us. He asked if we could make it. We said sure but asked if we could make it our own as opposed to an exact copy. I would never copy or put down another builder's work, but it just wasn't something I would want to put my name on.

Our carver J designed, carved and painted this beauty right away. We burnt the sides and back and gave it a hand rubbed poly finish and soon enough this amazing guitar was born.

The guitar has a real Floyd Rose tremolo system (no knock off stuff for Rafael), a compound radius maple on maple neck, and a pair of cream and black zebra high output pickups that just scream.
